NEW MEMBERS ALWAYS WELCOME

Amateur Dramatics is (arguably) the most sincere “team” activity there is, where the cast and crew are all pulling together to give the best production we can, and having a great time doing it – all because we love theatre. We are always ready and willing to welcome new members, whether on stage or doing the many “backstage” activities needed to stage a show, for example: Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Prompt, Properties, Director, Sound/Lights, Set Building, Ticket Sales, Refreshments, Front of House and so on. Don’t worry of you don’t know what’s involved – we’ll give you training where necessary and full support. It’s a great way to get out there and meet new (and slightly whacky) people.

Rehearsals take place between 8.00pm and 10.00pm (September to April) at Lymm Village Hall (Next to Pepper Street car park) every Tuesday and Thelwall Parish Hall (opposite “The Little Manor“) every Thursday.

Anyone interested in joining us to help, either on stage or behind the scenes, is always welcome to join us at rehearsals. (Note coffee break is around 9.00pm – bring your thirst.)

The Bridgewater Players drama group performs three full length plays per year in Thelwall, near Warrington in Cheshire.

Whether you just want to watch a play or come and join the Society to act, produce, work backstage or just enjoy the social life, you can be sure of a welcome.
