Murder in Company
a thriller by Philip King and John Borland

directed by June Brogdale

10-12 November 2011

Murder In Company is a mystery thriller and centres around an amateur dramatic group rehearsing for their current production on the stage of a church hall. Events and strains within the company more than equal those in the play they are to present! Philip's wife Margaret is friendlier than is wise with the young man of the group, prompting the sleazy new caretaker to undertake a little blackmail. He appears to be known already by Phoebe, another member of the company.

There is also a "prowler" in the neighbourhood who attacks ladies, one of them being a group member, attacked on the way to rehearsal.
The rehearsal proceeds under difficulties until the mysterious death of someone which brings the situation of the whodunit more closely into real life. It transpires that almost anyone might, and could have been, the murderer and eventually the identities of both the killer and the prowler are revealed.
